Darnall Primary Care Centre – Capital works to support changes to local health services

BSSL has recently completed a project at a Primary Care Centre in Sheffield, remodelling it to accommodate a relocated GP surgery.
The team have completed and handed over a refit of Darnall Primary Care Centre, creating an additional reception desk and admin rooms to allow nearby York Road surgery to relocate to these modern, fit-for-purpose facilities. The team adapted the way they work to ensure Covid-19 safe working systems at all times. The project was completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule, on budget, and to an extremely high standard, on behalf of the building owner, Community 1st Sheffield and Head Tenant Community Health Partnerships.
Community Health Partnerships said: ” The projects at both Jordanthorpe Health Centre and Darnall Primary Care Centre have gone incredibly well, and it’s been a pleasure dealing with the Facilities and Property Management Teams, who have acted in a professional manner.”

Blue Support Services provide a full facilities management support service to seven Primary Care Centres across Sheffield. They continue to support Community 1st and the NHS on minor works and property adaptations to reflect changing demands of Primary Care in Sheffield. These include the recent completion of variation works at Jordanthorpe Medical Centre, Sheffield.
